Evolution of Graphene Patterning: From Dimension Regulation to Molecular Engineering

چکیده
The realization that nanostructured graphene featuring nanoscale width can confine electrons to open its bandgap has aroused scientists’ attention the regulation of structures, where concept patterns emerged. Exploring various effective methods for creating led birth a new field termed patterning, which evolved into most vigorous and intriguing branch research during past decade. efforts in this have resulted development numerous strategies structure graphene, affording variety with tailored shapes sizes. established patterning approaches combined chemistry yields novel chemical route via molecular engineering, opens up era research. In review, currently developed is systematically outlined, emphasis on patterning. addition introducing basic concepts important progress traditional methods, are generally categorized top-down, bottom-up technologies, an exhaustive review protocols emerging presented. At end, outlook future challenges proposed.
